 | On Saturday, December 9th 2006, Multibrid Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH successfully completed the erection of the second Multibrid offshore wind energy plant. Nacelle and Rotor of the M5000 could easily be mounted on top of the 98.5 m high tower despite adverse wind conditions. |

November 22 2006 – Press release: Installation of the second M5000 |
In two weeks time (KW 49) Multibrid Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH will erect the second offshore wind energy converter on a 500 ton tripod foundation in Bremerhaven. Before the end of the year the plant will deliver electricity into the public grid.

June 22 2006 – Pile Installation and Concrete Foundation for the Onshore Tripod of the Second M5000 Completed |
This year another M5000 will be installed in Bremerhaven near to the prototype. The plant will be seated on a steel tripod as it will be employed later on in offshore wind farms. The foundation weighs 500t and has an overall height of 28m. Just as the prototype the hub height reaches 102m.
